Recycling Styrofoam

Ask any eco-nerd. Styrofoam (or Expanded Polystyrene, EPS) is the worst & it’s sure not accepted curbside. Empty and clean foam can be placed in an EnergyBag (then placed in your recycling cart). Otherwise, gather foam coolers and large packaging and take it to Plastilite Corporation (4930 Battlefield Dr). They offer a convenient EPS recycling collection container outside their building that’s accessible 24/7. Foam should be free of glue, tape and labels. Only large pieces of #6 EPS foam are excepted. Do not take food services or take out containers.
