When it opens next month, it’ll be on all the β€œTop 10 Places in Omaha” lists. But one key difference from others: while there, you can have a zero-waste experience. From compostable serveware to 12+ collection stations, we’re putting together a case study to share the deets. But meantime, here’s how we helped shape America’s first Green Restaurant-certified food hall.

Castelar Elementary

The Castelar Cardinals take flight on fighting climate change by introducing new zero-waste practices during mealtime. Custodian Clint reports fewer trash bags & inspired kiddos. More on our school composting program.

Arboretum Village

Immanuel Retirement Communities has been slowly tricking out their properties with upgraded landfill-diversion programs. Pacific Springs was first. Now we’re onto Arboretum. Best moment was when the recycling committee realized they no longer needed to self-haul their wine bottles.

Orion Advisor Solutions

With a carbon-reduction goal, Orion partnered with us to compost food waste, paper towels, and modernize their recycling program with dual-stream. Bonus points for their pre-existing paper-free facility commitment.

Benson First Friday

BFF recently made Benson Nebraska’s first official arts district. Along the way, they’ve expanded recycling efforts with a second location in Benson, added glass recycling, and are gearing up to have us at Benson Days. Read our guide for low-waste festivals.
